We got a couple studio days under our belt this weekend and we couldn't be more stoked about the results. In case you haven't seen it on social media, we're recording this EP at the studio we've been building out in Woonsocket, RI. We'll be finishing up over the next few weeks and we've actually got some friends popping in for projects over that time, as well. Kinda feels like that start of something cool. Big thanks to Matt Tahaney for getting down with the cause.
In other news, we've got a couple shows coming up next month with our boyfriends from Nashville, El Escapado. We're hitting OB's on Thursday, August 22nd with The Runouts and Sick Minds, then we're at Alchemy in PVD the following night with Zero Holds and Lewd (hit the SHOWS tab for more details). By that time, the record should be done and I'm sure we'll have some new stuff to talk about. Til then...

Happy 2019 everyone!
We don't have any scheduled shows for the time being because we're getting back into the rehearsal space to begin writing a NEW RECORD! You may not see any tour dates upcoming but we'll be around, and with new music soon! So, stay tuned, you won't be disapointed!
Geez, where the fuck does the time go? Anyway, we're hitting the road in about a week and a half and we've got Schupe Dawg behind the kit again. We're doing eleven shows with Burn Burn Burn! who'll be fresh off The Fest, making this one big spring tour/PNW reunion. I, for one, am stoked... and also about to run out of time at the library. More later.
Come to a show.

Hey gang,
Quick reminder that we've got a killer lineup at the Middle East this Friday (August 10th) for Adam's birthday with El Escapado, 78 RPM, and Michael Kane & The Morning Afters - $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
We've got another local show the following week (if you can believe it), this time at The Verb Hotel by Fenway Park. From our understanding it's a pool party of sorts and we'll be rocking it with our buds in Vaulted. Best part; it's free, but space is limited. Head to the SHOWS tab, click 8/17 and follow the Facebook link to RSVP and reserve your tickets.
After all that, we're laying low for a month before sending it up to Quebec for a long weekend around Le Deluge Fest. We'll be hitting Montreal, QC, and Jonquiere. Looking forward to seeing all of our beloved Quebecois.
Rock 'n' roll,

In about a month, we're kicking off another four-week banger across the Northern US and Canada. This tour is aimed largely at making up many of the dates we were forced to cancel last fall when our bus shit the bed in Wisconsin.

... AND we'll be doing it with April Schupmann (Sniper 66/Starving Wolves) on drums! Don't worry we didn't kill Ken or anything, he's just got some shit to do. He'll be back for the Fuck You We Rule run this summer. In the meantime, we're fucking stoked to welcome April to the family and can't wait to carve up the concrete seas with her!

Yo yo! We're three shows into our fall tour, kicking it in northern Virginia with Alex from Walk The Plank. He's a damn fine cook, I'll tell ya what. So far, shows have been great and homies have been everywhere. We're stoked to reunite with Mistaker in Richmond tonight alongside our Canadian bretheren, Lost Love. We're adding and updating dates all the time, so be sure to check back here for up-to-date info on shows in your area. I said "date" three times in that sentence. Sorry about that.
See ya at Fest!

Hey, gang. How've you been since we last talked? Good? We hope so. Our run with Bottlerocket and MakeWar was a smashing success. Thanks to everyone who played a part and to everyone who came out. That was just what we needed.
Anyway, you know the drill, here we go again. We're heading out for another month starting October 20th with appearances at The Fest in Gainesville and Iron Fest in Newport, KY. We'll also be making our way back to Denver - for the first time in over two years, Nashville, Memphis, Tulsa, Pittsburgh, RVA, KC and, basically, everywhere inbetween. Head to the SHOWS tab for more info.
If you donated $10+ to our GoFundMe campaign, we owe you a spot on our guestlist at a headlining show of your choice. Just shoot us an email at OC45punx@gmail.com with your name and the date/city and you'll be all set. Easy enough?
Thanks again for all of your love and support over the past 6+ years. It's been a wild ride but, the way we see it, we're just getting started.

Hey, gang. If you haven't heard, we ran into some complications with our bus in Wisconsin. Pretty serious complications, in fact. They're so complicated that we've been stuck in Madison for the past week and our only choice at this point is to ditch the bus here, cancel the rest of tour, and take our gear home in a U-Haul. We're very sorry to anyone who was looking forward to seeing us. We were certainly looking forward to seeing you.
I find it hard to believe anyone would be finding out about this here but, if you are and you want the whole story, here's the link to our GoFundMe campaign:

In our 6 years and 10+ US tours, we've never had to do anything like this. We're not happy about it, but we're going to get through it. The plan is to come up with enough money for a new van and be back on the road in October so, if you'd like to help our cause, feel free to donate to and share our GoFundMe.
Thanks for you support and understanding.

Hey gang,
Well, here we are. It's the last day of May and we've got about 62 shows in the books, so far, for 2017. Our first European tour was a tremendous success thanks to Cityrat Records and Booking and, of course, The Jukebox Romantics. We've got few local/regional engagements planned for June, a pretty quiet July, and then we're right back on the road again in August; heading back to the Pacific Northwest for the first time since 2015. The PacNW Tour will feature three short runs with some of our favorite bands from around the country.
After that, we'll be home for a few weeks before starting another month-plus tour routed around appearances at Fest 16 in Gainesville and Iron Fest 8 in Newport, KY. Stay tuned more info!

PS - Go buy our record.
Sorry, guys. Well, I'm really just more disappointed in myself than anything. All I ever want to do is keep the fucking News tab updated and I suck at it so badly. Even as I'm finally getting my first opportunity to write in weeks at Sam and Jessica's house in San Jose, I think it's my turn to jump in the shower and we're realizing that we don't have as much time to fuck off as we thought. Still gotta run to Guitar Center with Ken and do laundry. Goddamn it.
Anyway, real quick: alternator died, got it replaced, bus is running great again. Ken flew out and played his first set with us last night. Mike's hanging with us til San Diego. He killed it for us for three weeks and we're grateful to have had the pleasure to work and travel with him. May we share many more miles together in the future. Danny Colorado also joined up in Vegas and I'm pretty sure he was promoted to band manager or dad or something last night. All in all, things are going pretty great and we're stoked to tear up California and Mexico, before sending it back east.
... I'll write something better soon.

Yesterday, the sixteenth day of February in the year 2017 Anno Domini, was fucking gnarly. We left Jacksonville (where we'd partied about as hard as you can party with Loose Bearings at Big Country's house) around 2p for a show in Orlando. We got added late (this week) and were supposed to play pretty much right at 7p. We hopped off the highway for a quick piss stop at a rest area near St. Augustine and, when we got back in the bus for the last hour and change, it wouldn't fucking start. It was real close, but we couldn't get 'er to turn over. A few good samaritans tried to help us, but we wound up stuck there for over five hours. Finally, after a lengthy (and, ultimately, unsuccessful) attempt at getting AAA to bring us starter fluid, we accepted the reality that we needed a tow and we weren't getting to Orlando. We contacted the booker and gave him the low down. He said that if we could get there by 10p, we could play last (he was trying to wrap it up by midnight). We told him it wasn't likely.
Then the mole people got to work (it's from Hepatitis Bathtub) and the tow truck driver got the bus started in a last ditch effort (after already picking it up) and told us we'd probably be able to make it to the shop and that the next time we turn it off, we'd need starter fluid to start it back up again (aka don't turn it off before you get to wherever it is you're going). It was 8:30 and we were an hour and a half from Orlando. We decided to go for it.
We got to the house (didn't know it was a house show) at exactly 10p. We were stoked. We were raging. There was a backyard stage and a bonfire that people were hurling sofas, electrical cables, and other shit into. We met a former guitar player from Dead To Me. I was holding on for dear life at one point during a late-night beer run in somebody's murder van. It was fun.
Not surprisingly, the cops came. Also not surprisingly (if you'd been there), they came before we got to fucking play.
Yeah...
for real.
After all that.
But, we still had a fucking blast (and sold some merch, believe it or not) and we'd like to thank Christian, Mike, Aubrey, and the rest of the Coffin Print crew. It was a night we won't soon forget.
Man, Florida's weird.

Tate Clair's backyard is a familiar place. After 5 years of coming here, all of Gainesville is pretty familiar. Last night, Tate cooked up a pre-show feast featuring steak, lobster, and green chili, we rocked the Hardback with Loose Bearings (thanks Alan!), then we did some hard chillin' by the campfire til we ran out of beer.
Big thanks to Johnny Puke, Whiskey Diablo and everyone at the Tin Roof for a great time in Charleston on Monday. Can't wait to come back through.
Tonight, we're heading to Jacksonville with Loose Bearing for a show at the Harbor Tavern with Concrete Criminals. Probably gonna have to pop into Shantytown and give Reeder a hug.

... and ANOTHER thing! Over the past couple days, we've added a few tour stops:
2/16: Orlando, FL @ Coffin's Print Shop
3/4: Santa Cruz, CA @ Poet N Patriot
3/15: Tucson, AZ @ The Loudhouse
Well, last night fucking ruled. It's always a blast coming to Raleigh and hanging out with old friends. Huge thanks to the McDougall clan for the hospitality and heavy raging. Should you ever find yourself in Raleigh, be sure to hit up a bar/arcade called Boxcar. Dollar mimosas every Sunday and a killer selection of arcade games, new and old. It also seems like everyone in Raleigh has a dog, so that's kind of a huge plus.
Shout out to the RVA homies, Insubordination, and Mistaker for helping us kick this shit off right. Tongight, we're in Charlotte at The World Famous Milestone.
XLV
Well, we intended on leaving today, but a giant snowstorm made that impossible. Almost beat winter. Thaaaat close. Up and at 'em tomorrow, playing 25 Watt in Richmond, Virginia with Bastard Bearded Irishmen, Insubordination, Mistaker, and Skumboyz. The rest of our dates are up to speed on this site and the webstore won't be far behind. We're stepping up our game. Check back here for the latest throughout tour.
